Although Te Moana a Toi (TMAT) IMPB does not directly deliver services to whānau, our role is to lead, support, advocate, and at times oppose to ensure the best outcomes for whānau Māori within the Te Moana a Toi rohe. The information below provides an overview of the Hauora Māori Providers (HMPs) operating across our rohe and the key services they deliver to support whānau wellbeing.
This is a consolidated view of the HMPs that Te Moana a Toi works alongside and across to strengthen hauora outcomes for our communities.

Based on the overall assessment, TMAT IMPB will take one of the following positions:
The proposal strongly advances the kaupapa, priorities and outcomes.
TMAT IMPB will lead – shaping, influencing and driving this work
The proposal aligns with the kaupapa and outcomes, and is best led by others.
TMAT IMPB will enable, influence and support delivery
The proposal aligns with the kaupapa and outcomes, but sits outside TMAT IMPB’s direct mandate or capacity..
TMAT IMPB will advocate and use its influence to ensure action is taken
The proposal does not strengthen Toi Ora and risks undermining iwi leadership or whānau wellbeing.
